Ficarazzi Apartment, holiday house in Sicily for 6 guests

Ficarazzi is the Sicilian dialect word for prickly pear. This plant is considered a native plant since it is widely integrated in the Sicilian landscape.
Actually this plant was discovered in Mexico and it arrived in Europe thanks to the Spanish people, after he second half of the 16th century. The Arabs brought it to Sicily where, thanks to the mild climate, it could grow very easily.

We chose the same atmosphere to design our Ficarazzi apartment. It is featured by a private entrance, surrounded by the Mediterranean tropical plants and a beautiful patio equipped with outdoor furniture where you can sip your “aperitivo” or a soft drink after spending your day on the beach.
In the Ficarazzi apartment there is a big living area overlooking the patio. The open kitchen and the Sicilian majolica tiles make it the perfect place to challenge the preparation of the typical Sicilian recipes.
There are two bedrooms, a double one and a single one featuring soft relaxing colours. They both have an exit on the second patio, wider and more reserved since it is protected by the evergreen plants and an automated sun shade.
There are the showers with the Mosaico trims and the tiles are inspired by the cement tiles. They are quiet corners featuring geometrical and marine shapes.

Like all the apartments belonging to the Chi nnicchi e nnacchi’s collection the Ficarazzi apartment is addressed to the ones who don’t settle for the natural and artistic beauty only. It is a holiday house for the guests who wish to find comfort and details that go beyond the common house renting in Sicily.
