According to a legend Cosimo I De’ Medici brought the jasmine to Italy in 1500. He loved this flower so much that he ordered his gardeners not to give it to anyone and grow the most of its types. Once one of his gardeners gave a sprig to his girlfriend who planted into the soil to make it last longer. The jasmine survived and new flowers grew until our present time.

It is the same jasmine that scents the Sicilian Summer nights nowadays and the rooms of the Gessuminu apartment too. This is a welcoming and comfortable holiday house, indoor and outdoor.
It has got an independent entrance, it is made of red bricks and it is surrounded by the Mediterranean plants that follow the guests up to the main door.
There is an equipped living area, a view on the patio with nice outdoor furniture. The open kitchen and the typical Sicilian tiles will cheer you up, it is the ideal place to have lunch or dinner with your friends and taste
the typical local products while being comfortably served in the patio. There are two bedrooms. The first one is equipped with a sofa-bed and it looks out on the patio. The second one has a double-bed and the bathroom and it leads you directly to the second patio, more sheltered, surrounded by evergreen plants and protected by an automated shade. The two showers in the bathroom are featured by mosaic fittings and some tiles that are inspired by the cement tiles with the soft colours that remind the relaxing sea views.
